The location isn’t the most desirable, with a shopping center across the street and a large parking lot surrounding the grounds; nothing much is within walking distance. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, but no on-site restaurant, although there is a gift shop with snacks. There is a free buffet-style breakfast every morning. The rooms are basic but clean, with a cookie-cutter style that could belong in any of the chain’s hotels nationwide.

Lauderdale Airport North Cruise Port gets the job done, but doesn't do much more than expected.
